PBS announces ‘Drive Live’program
Sun 29th Jan, 2012 in Local News
From Monday February 6 through to Friday February 10, PBS 106.7 will be going live and local as their long-running ‘Drive Live’ program takes over the airwaves. The premise is simple: three bands pump out three sets in three studios each day, with the resulting racket being broadcast during the afternoon drive slot.
Past editions have featured the likes of Paul Kelly, Thee Oh Sees and Gareth Liddiard, and this year’s program will launch with Graveyard Train, Ben Salter and Howl At The Moon on the Monday, with the full roster to be announced very soon. PBS members who are sharp enough to RSVP by January 30 will have the opportunity to attend the sessions in person. As if all that’s not enough, there are rumours of free Coopers beverages on offer. Tune in, or go to www.pbsfm.org.au for further details.
