Evanescence tour

Back in October last year in the midst of the annual Soundwave lineup rumour frenzy some folk were fairly certain that Evanescence would be on the bill. However in an interview with FasterLouder the band’s lead singer Amy Lee dismissed that story revealing that Evanescence would be in Australia early in 2012 for their own headline tour.

Those promised tour dates have now been revealed with Evanescence set to return in March to play their first Australian shows since their seven date sold out run back in 2007.

Support on the tour comes from AFI’s Davey Havok and Jade Puget with their side-project Blaqk Audio.

Evanescence tour dates:

Friday 23rd March – Royal Theatre, Canberra
Saturday 24th March – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Monday 26th March – Convention Centre, Brisbane
Wednesday 28th March – Entertainment Centre, Newcastle
Thursday 29th March – Entertainment Centre, Sydney
