First time Australian visitors Bombay Bicycle Club have announced sideshows to coincide with their forthcoming tour alongside British legends Elbow.

Much to the delight of long-waiting fans the indie four-piece, who released their third studio album A Different Kind of Fix last year, will play three intimate shows in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney this March.

Update: To cope with demand a second Sydney show has been added.
Update 2: The Melbourne gig has been moved from the Corner to The Forum. Extra tickets on sale Friday 24th February.

Bombay Bicycle Club sideshows:
Sunday 18th March – Astor Theatre, Perth (All Ages)
Tuesday 20th March – The Forum, Melbourne
Wednesday 28th March – Oxford Arts Factory, Sydney Sold Out
Thursday 29th March – Metro Theatre, Sydney (All Ages)

Tickets on sale 9am Wednesday 1st February.

Never actually listened to them. Every time I went to get their album its been sold out at work. Will download today I guess.

And I think I said I went to go see them at titp in 2010 but missed them due to someone else being on i was more familiar with. Will hazard a guess and say it was someone like Rodrigo Y Gabriela

yes actually that is what you said. i'd be surprised if many people had actually listened to them on here, i know mab and beck were giving them flack, but they're not really a stereotypically 'chav band' they're more like a poppier foals/coldplay/other indie band mix. meant to be great live too.

Go to elbows sideshow? Haters aside, their Splendour performance was one of my favourites of the festival. Plus BBC will probably get about 40 mins I reckon so it's a decent length.
