The Rapture announce FutureMusic sideshows

If seeing The Rapture tear up Future Music Festival with the likes of Die Antwoord, Friendly Fires and Aphex Twin isn’t enough to quench your Rapture thirst, then no doubt you’ll be pleased to know that the New York dance-punk icons will play two additional sideshows.

Joined by Canadian party starters Azari & III, The Rapture will be showing off tunes from their summer-ready LP In The Grace Of Your Love at The Forum in Melbourne and The Metro in Sydney this March.

Speaking with FasterLouder about their Philippe Zdar-produced record, drummer Vito Roccoforte recalled a time when he thought the album wouldn’t even happen: “We had different members leaving and coming back, and then one quitting. We had personal things too like having babies and family members passing away, just a lot of stuff like that, and almost the band falling apart a few times and coming back together. It was like we made it through and then finally recorded this album in a really good spot after we came through all that.”

Thursday 8th March – The Metro, Sydney
