Death Grips cancel tour
Wed 4th Jan, 2012 in Local News
Yet another in the rapidly growing list of tour cancellations: Zach Hill’s experimental angry hip-hop trio from California, Death Grips, have cancelled their January tour thanks to the ubiquitous ‘circumstances unforeseen’
The message sent out via their promoters in Australia reads:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, California’s Death Grips have unfortunately chosen to cancel their debut Australian tour scheduled for January, 2012…
At this stage there are no plans to re-schedule tour, and thanks for being so understanding.”
The band were due to appear throughout Australia in late January.
Tickets will be refunded, some minus the credit card or booking fee, depending on the policy of the individual outlet. Perth promoter LifeIsNoise has committed to refunding the entire purchase price to punters, whilst Heatseeker will retain the credit card fee.
