Mark Ronson no longerappearing at Future MusicFestival

Confirmed last week as part of the second Future Music Festival lineup, super producer Mark Ronson has been taken off the bill due to a scheduling conflict.

The event’s organisers have released a statement announcing that “Mark Ronson was outstanding at Future Music Festival this year and following this we both really wanted a follow up tour showcasing his the other creative abilities. He is an amazing DJ and this was the basis of his proposed appearance at Future Music 2012. Over and above this he is one of the worlds most in demand producers and he has had opportunities come up he cant refuse. We are still in discussions about when he can return with us to Australia and we are more than happy to wait for the right time… He is welcome back whenever its suitable and we wish him all the best continuing with what is a brilliant career to date.”

Ronson had been scheduled to play a DJ set with UK music know-it-all Zane Lowe, who was announced on the huge second lineup alongside New Order, Friendly Fires, Gym Class Heroes and more.
