Dress like a Rock Star andraise money for Vinnies

Fancy yourself a bit of an op-shopper? Spend your weekends trying to perfect your Rock Star threads? Well Vinnies have just the thing for you.

Vinnies (St Vincent de Paul) op shops have teamed up with stacks of musicians to create the project ‘Signed Finds’, whereby musos donate a piece of their clothing, sign it and then hide it in a Vinnies store for you to find!

These treasured items will be delivered and hidden in a selection of the 253 Vinnies stores spread across metro and regional NSW from 5th December. Fans will be able to follow clues and hints on the Signed Finds Facebook page and will be able to tell whether they have secured a genuine ‘Signed Find’ by the specially marked tag attached and by checking out the photos of their artist signing the items www.signedfinds.com.au.

The initiative officially kicks off on 5th December and runs until approximately 26th January 2012, culminating in finds procured live from Big Day Out. During this time, three in-store drops will be made of approximately 25 Signed Finds each.

Artists that have participated in Signed Finds so far include Neil Finn, Tex Perkins, COG, Faker, Kimbra, Peter Garrett, The Wombats, , Gotye, John Butler, The Living End and more!
