Dirty Three tour
Fri 2nd Dec, 2011 in Local News
Dirty Three have backed up their Sydney Opera House date announcing a full(ish) Australian tour that will take in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and even Castlemaine.
When speaking to FL about a new Dirty Three record back in 2010 Warren Ellis revealed, “It’s become increasingly problematic over the years as people have established families and [are] doing other work. There’s just not the time to do things and find a moment when everybody is available but that’s fine too. We’re due a record and it feels like the right time which is good.” One year on and the band is finally preparing to release their first album since 2005’s Cinder, and Ellis has already labelled it “the definitive album from Dirty Three.”
