What could make a sunset moment with Bon Iver and a psychedelic trip with Roky Erickson even more delicious? How about a slice of dreamy ‘hammock-pop’ and a dose of garage goodness from Melbourne’s finest.

Following the loss of indie legends Low on the 2012 Golden Plains lineup next year Aunty Meredith has arranged for the New Jersey-bred, Pitchfork-adored Real Estate to join the bill. And just in case that wasn’t enough to make Golden Plains the Sixxxth one of the sweetest lineups of the next twelve months, smashing out some delicious garage tunes alongside them will be the Melbourne ‘super-group’ Total Control who, for those not familiar, features members from UV Race, ECSR, and Straitjacket Nation.
