New acts for Field Day 2012

If you’re celebrating the first day of 2012 at Field Day in the Domain, the forecast just got brighter. This morning, 13 new acts were added to its New Year’s Day line-up – with some marquee names leading the way.

After his standout performances at Parklife this year, UK rabble-rouser Example will be back with his offsider DJ Wire, while his chart-topping compatriot Calvin Harris will kick on from Shore Thing to the mainstage.

UK bass crew Modestep is also on board, and if you like refined house in the sunshine, Motor City Drum Ensemble is your man. There’s also a host of locals joining in the festivities like Flight Facilities, The Aston Shuffle and New Navy.

All these fresh faces join the likes of Justice in all-new live mode, Crystal Castles, Busy P, Tiga, Metronomy and many more.
