Ryan Adams solo tour

Ryan Adams will return early next year for a tour that kicks off with a gig as part of the Perth Festival.

This will be the temperamental and prolific singer’s first ever solo tour Australia, having toured here several times with backing band The Cardinals, including an infamously short set at Splendour back in 2005.

However, on his most recent tour back in the summer of ‘09, FL’s reviewer in Sydney wrote that “it is difficult to illustrate a gig in nothing but adulation, it’s harder still to deny that this was an exceptional event with a gorgeous set-list.” Hopefully the tour in 2012 finds Adams in similar form.

Tuesday 28th February – Opera House, Sydney
Thursday 1st March – Concert Hall – QPAC, Brisbane
Saturday 3rd March – Regent Theatre, Melbourne
Tuesday 6th March – Regent Theatre, Dunedin
Thursday 8th March – Civic Theatre, Auckland

Perth tickets on sale Monday 7th November; all other tickets on sale Monday 14th November
