Perth Festival 2012 lineup

Following quickly on the heels of the Sydney festival launch comes the Perth festival lineup announcement for 2012. And the lineup is every bit as impressive.

We already knew that Bon Iver would be kicking off his Australian tour in the west – giving him the chance to play the opening track from his glorious new record in the city that inspired the tune – but Bon Iver is just one of the festival’s many highlights.

Punters in Perth will also be treated to performances from indie faves Death Cab For Cutie, prolific alt-country (anti)hero Ryan Adams, bluesman Seasick Steve, Indian folk/indie pop maestros Cornershop, Jurassic 5 DJ Cut Chemist, Le Tigre side project MEN, legendary film composer Ennio Morricone and a set from reggae legend Little Roy paying tribute to Nirvana’s Nevermind
