Dum Dum Girls have announced a series of sideshows around Australia this summer on the back of appearances at the Peats Ridge, Pyramid Rock and No Years festivals to show off the fuzzy, 50s and 60s-influenced girl group sound of their new album Only In Dreams.

Monday 2nd January – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Tuesday 3rd January – Corner Hotel, Melbourne
The first generation American son of Palestinian and Filipino immigrants, combines punk rock with 1950s and 60s Americana on the album and will play two very intimate sideshows on his tour..

Thursday 29th December – FBi Social, Sydney
Sunday 1st January – The Tote, Melbourne
With a moniker like Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, you really can’t help but like UK producer Orlando Higginbottom. Or, considering his performances feature a “dancing dinosaur”, at least be bemused enough to want to check out the live show. Right?

Metronomy are riding high on universal acclaim for their Mercury Prize-nominated third album, The English Riviera and will make appearances on the stages at Falls, Field Day, Summerdayze and Southbound over the New Years period. They also have a solitary headline show on offer for the lucky punters of Melbourne town.
