Future Music tickets on sale
Thu 20th Oct, 2011 in Local News
Tickets for the Future Music Festival are now on sale so if you want to catch dance to The Wombats, The Rapture, Aphex Twin, Fatboy Slim, Die Antwoord, Frank Ocean, the LCD Soundsystem DJs and the rest of the blockbuster lineup next March you’d best be heading over to Future to grab your tickets.
The Wombats have just wrapped up their own headline tour and drummer Dan Haggis told FL that the band is really looking forward to returning next year for Future and playing for new fans: “I think most people who like music are open to new types of music. We could play to lots of people who might not normally see us and I would hope a few Wombats fans would come along and soak up the atmosphere.”
This time round, the festival is offering a few ticketing options. If your bank balance is looking a bit bruised at the moment, you can choose the Book Now Pay Later option and paying it off in regular installments.
If you really want to pimp it out, you can even go for the “newly improved” VIP area with all the trimmings. In Sydney and Melbourne, there’s also the extra-flashy First Class ticket option. And for the truly festival-mad among you, Future is offering a Twin Pack ticket for both Summadayze and Future Music Festival.
Strictly Limited First Release tickets – $135 plus booking fee
VIP tickets – $190 plus booking fee
First Class ticket – $290 plus booking fee (Melb & Syd Only)
