Black Joe Lewis & TheHoneybears sideshows

After killing it at Spelndour in July, Austin’s Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears return to Australia for Meredith and for headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Black Joe and his merry men tore the joint apart with their set in the GW MClennan tent on the opening night of Splendour with their raw take on rhythm and blues coming on like the Black Keys joined by a horn section and bass. With the band members hollering and leaping around the stage, they were joined by the Relatives – five very dapper gentlemen from Dallas, Texas resplendently dressed in matching blue suits with striking yellow shirts – to create a scene that threatened to raise John Belushi from the grave and have him flipping cartwheels through the Splendour crowd.
Even without the Relatives this time around, Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears are sure to provide of the finest shows of summer.
Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears sideshows:
Wednesday 7th Sydney – Powerstation, Auckland
Friday 9th December – The Factory Theatre, Sydney
Sunday 11th December – Caravan Music Club, Melbourne
Tuesday 13th December – The Prince, Melbourne
Tickets on sale Monday 17th October
