Off! Meredith sideshow dates

Off! is Black Flag and Circle Jerks vocalist Keith Morris, Burning Brides frontma Dimitri Coats, Red Kross bassist Steven McDonald, and Earthless/Hot Snakes/ Rocket From The Crypt drummer Mario Rubalcaba.

The all-star Californian hardcore crew debuted at South By Southwest last year with a ferocious 15 minute set, played their first hometown show in downtown LA to over 1200 people and will make their way to Australia in December to play at Meredith and a series of blistering live shows across the country.

Off! tour:

Tue 6th December – Sun Distortion, Brisbane (AA)

Sat 10th December – Meredith Music Festival (AA) – SOLD OUT
Sun 11th December – Fitzroy Bowls Club, Melbourne (AA)

Fronted by legendary Black Flag and Circle Jerks vocalist Keith Morris, all-star Californian hardcore ensemble OFF! announce their first ever Australian tour.

The individual roots established by Keith Morris (Black Flag/ Circle Jerks), Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides), Steven McDonald (Red Kross) and Mario Rubalcaba (Earthless/Hot Snakes/ Rocket From The Crypt) are uniquely woven throughout the rock music canon. Each has challenged society’s cyclical and complacent ideals in their own respective bands and three decades on, they’ve never strayed from their intentions.

Now they come together as a four-piece called OFF! and they’re as confrontational as ever, lunging inside the aesthetic of West Coast hardcore to push life’s most provocative issues to the forefront.

Know a few people that would/should be keen for this.

I know it exists, I pass it every day. It's just a really surprising venue choice, especially for an Off! gig.

one of the only reasons i purchased a meredith ticket in fear that they weren't going to do side shows.... shame on me.

So this ruled, no surprises there.

Don't want to get all Sydney Confidential on y'all but Pink Eyes, Jack Black, Kyle Gass AND Nate Mendel were all at the Annandale for this. Pretty cool.
