Instead of spreading his message with a backing of gospel singers, Jim Jones preaches to his flock with the support of the Jim Jones Revue. His message to the people is simple. The good word of the lord is not the cure to your problems. It’s rock ‘n’roll.”
Yes, it’s safe to say we were mightily impressed with The Jim Jones Revue when they visited us for the Big Day Out tour earlier this year.
The hard-driving, microphone shredding powerhouse of vintage 50s punk and soul will return for sets a the Falls and Southbound festivals plus a trio of East Coast headline shows to announce the beginning of 2012 in fine style.
