Wagons and Joe Pug team up forEast Coast tour

Melbourne’s Wagons and Chicago’s Joe Pug will join forces for a handful of east coast performances this October and November.

These shows will be the last Australian dates for the year for Wagons and Pug’s first since his 2010 Australian debut supporting Justin Townes Earle.

Joe Pug, whose debut album Messenger was nominated for Best New & Emerging Artist at the Americana Music Awards will also play at the Wave Rock festival in Western Australia.

Jordie Lane and the FL Playlisted March of The Real Fly will open select shows, with further guests for the Esplanade’s Cup Eve show to be announced soon.

Wagons and Joe Pug tour:

Monday 31st October – The Esplanade Hotel, Melbourne
Friday 4th November – Meeniyan Hall, Meeniyan
Saturday 5th November – The Thornbury Theatre, Melbourne
Saturday 12th November – The Vanguard, Sydney
Sunday 13th November – The Vanguard, Sydney

Tickets on sale Monday 19th September

Gonna try and do both Sydney shows, but probably will just hit the Saturday. Joe Pug is so good, I got his Nation of Heat EP a month or two ago and it's been getting a lot of spins.

Was just about to start cursing them going head-to-head with Graveyard Train on Halloween, but then saw the Thornbury Theatre date.
