Hall and Oates tour
Mon 29th Aug, 2011 in Local News
The best selling duo in music history, Hall and Oates are returning to Australia for their first national tour since 1991.
The masters of blue eyed soul and yacht rock racked up over 30 chart hits in their heyday including Rich Girl, Kiss On My List, Maneater and You Make My Dreams. The duo has also been responsible for inspiring everything Chromeo has ever recorded and been sampled on records from likes of LL Cool J, Lil Wayne, 2 Live Crew, De La Soul and even Jason Donovan.
Adding to his list of hits, John Oates also co-wrote and sung on Electric Blue back in 1987, making the recently reformed Icehouse the obvious choice to support Hall and Oates in New Zealand and Australia early next year.
