If you need Satan more than he needs you, then there is no doubt that you will be front and centre at Future Of The Left’s sideshows come December.

The (mostly) Welsh upstarts are beyond introduction down under, where their maniacal gigs are now well and truly the stuff of legends. Currently made up of Andy Falkous and Jack Eggleston FOL will be joined by their current touring line-up of Julia Ruzicka and Jimmy Watkins when they reach our shores at the end of this year.

While discussing the highs and lows of dealing with hecklers and “tickling sailors balls” in order to pay rent, the mouth behind the machine, Andy Falkous, assured FL last year that he would not be slowing down anytime soon: “Well partly it’s just a mental compulsion which is akin to a dangerous undiagnosed psychiatric disease. For me it’s quit simple: I love playing rock shows and I want to be in the best rock band in the world and I love writing a really good record, which we’ve done with the last couple of records and every time I do one I want the next one to be better.”
