Avant-pop pioneers Gang Gang Dance will play three additional sideshows when they land on our shores for Meredith Music festival this December.

The New York City five-piece have just released their fifth album Eye Contact and, as expected, it has fans and critics swooning. Of the new record Pitchfork (who gave it an 8.5 of the Richter scale) gushed: “This is not a pop record, per se, but the stuff of pop records collected, melted down, and then dribbled Jackson Pollock-style onto a canvas.”

While hype is sometimes a dirty word in this industry when it comes to Gang Gang Dance’s live shows, every word can be believed. Their reputation for incendiary performs well and truly proceeds them and these gigs are not to be missed.

Tuesday 6th December – Turbine Platform, Brisbane Powerhouse
Wednesday 7th December – Corner Hotel – Melbourne.
Saturday 10th December – The Studio, Sydney Opera House – Sydney.
