Pyramid Rock Festival line-up
Tue 23rd Aug, 2011 in Local News
Phillip Island’s biggest New Year’s Eve party returns in 2011 with a huge line-up of internationals and locals.
Scissor Sisters were last on our shores to get sticky at Splendour In The Grass, where they made the masses heave to the sights and sounds of Jake Shears and Ana Matronic in full force. As one FL reviewer put it, “Scissor Sisters are the definition of entertainment. Their energy and attitude is hard to rival and they’ve got a fine swag of songs to carry them as well.”
At the other end of the rock spectrum, and sure to be leaving their feather boa’s on the shelf come midnight, are The Living End. Having just released new album The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating Chris, Scott and Andy will have the mosh pit rumbling with their new tunes and festival favourite back catalogue.
And last, but definitely not least, there is no doubt that Gotye will provide ‘the’ sing-a-long moment of Pyramid (and probably quite a few other summer festivals) with his cross-over hit Used To Know come December.
