More Gotye shows announced

Update:
After selling out shows across the country – including a record four shows on one weekend in Melbourne – Gotye has announced a Perth show.

With the release of his new album Making Mirrors due next week, FL’s favourite apple juggler Gotye has announced several more shows on his national tour.

Third shows have been added to Brisbane and Melbourne, as has a second show to Adelaide and the word is that we can expect a Perth show to be announced very soon.

In related news Kimbra, Gotye’s duet partner on this year’s early front runner in the betting for the Hottest 100 countdown, has also announced a national tour.

There is a lot of good music getting around at the moment don't waste your time on this flavour of the month track like every prepusbesent girl with a radio dialled to jjj

tbh I kind of agree, the song is worse than the sum of its parts.

Doesn't help that everyone on facebook reposts the video every two hours. Close to adding it to my FBPurity blocklist.

I think if Gotye's next single is 80% as catchy as Somebody I Used to Know, it is more likely to get to the top of the Hottest 100 based on timing and momentum.

The bandwagon is growing rapidly. Even if the next single is average, there'll be a lot of people who claim it is the greatest song in the history of great songs.

I accidentally left the album playing overnight on iTunes. It now looks like I've listened to Gotye over 200 times on last.fm.

Oh well, great album. I expect this to be the first Australian album to win the trifecta (ARIA, J Award, Amp)

is it still a leak if the album has been streaming for 3 days? and was played in full 4 days ago? my idea of a leak is when a journo or someone within uploads the album without permission well before release.
