Strokes, Radiohead tours early2012?

After accurately tipping the lineups for On the Bright Side, Harvest and the dates of the Foo Fighters tour it’s difficult to ignore Miss Info’s tweets as a source of ‘leaked’ tour news. ‘She’ has also accurately predicted tour announcements by Tallest Man Alive, Grinderman, that Arctic Monkeys and Fleet Foxes would be on the Falls lineup and a few of the Parklife acts. ‘She’ doesn’t have a perfect track record, but she’s damn close.

Miss Info has been at it again ‘announcing’ that The Strokes will be here early next year for a festival tour. The anonymous music industry ‘insider’ had been tipping the Strokes for a slot on the Foo Fighters/Tenacious D tour, but she says that “It appears The Strokes are no longer needed on the Foo Fighters dates and have been snaffled by Future Music. Future Music line up looks like Fatboy Slim, Justice, Jessie J, Chase n Status, Tinie Tempah, The Strokes & Two Door Cinema Club. ;-)”

And that’s not the only ‘leak’ offered up on her twitter page and tumblr. According to Miss Info we can also expect an arena tour from Radiohead in February Thurston Moore on the Laneway lineup Splendour headliner Kanye on a headline tour in November and Blink-182 and Ememim on the Big Day Out lineup.
