Splendour In The Grass weatherforecast

A Splendour Bender has never been dampened by a little bit of rain, nor have the fashion conscious ever been deterred from sporting short-shorts when the mercury dips below ten degrees, nonetheless it doesn’t hurt to know what Mother Nature has in store for all the punters headed North this weekend.

According to the ever-reliable Elders weather website we are in for four days of sun with “occasional” showers at Splendour In The Grass 2011. This means gumboots, sunscreen and ponchos are all must haves, along with sunglasses, hats and lots of layers for those chilly Woodfordia evenings. So just pack your whole wardrobe to be safe.

It's been really good weather up here for the last few weeks, hardly any rain.
I'd say we'll have a shower or not, but it won't be too muddy

I recommend a singlet, shorts and runners.

Don't bother with warm clothes, rain protection or gumboots.

Rain and cold weather are highly unlikely in Winter.

This is a music festival alright? So make sure you look trendy as fuck and not like some little faggot with a poncho, rain or no rain.

If you must wear a poncho to protect your fake tan from streaking in the wet make sure it's a clear one so people can see it!

Short shorts are a must and if I can't see your hip bones through the gaping sides in your singlet you can fuck right off.

Sunglasses are to be worn all night and if you can't feel the texture of the mud through your rabens then they are too thick, they are lame, you are lame and you don't look cool!

Lastly, please remember that you didn't have fun unless you have Facebook photos of you pulling duckface as proof alongside a copy of your Twitter page as you live tweeted your experience.

Pro Tip: Bitches love having their tits squeezed in tha mosh!
