Foreshore Summer MusicFestival 2011 first roundline-up announced

Who said it was too early to start dreaming about summer? Foreshore Summer Music Festival is back in 2011 with a cracker lineup from our friends at Kicks.

Foreshore hits the East and West lawns of Canberra’s Parliamentary Triangle, on Saturday 26th November with Pnau, Ladyhawke, Gotye, Architecture in Helsinki, Boy & Bear iconic female rappers Salt-N-Pepa and plenty more.

Heh. My girlfriend and her friends went to school with Timmy Trumpet. The singer from The Snowdroppers was also in their year.

It was so weird a few weeks ago. I was looking through CDs at JB, and picked up the Snowdroppers' record just as I saw their lead singer walk over to a mother and daughter buying a new Macbook. Turns out he works there.

first year i won't be there.. i hope ladyhawke can sort out her live show, the couple of times i've seen her at festivals the sound has been terrible.
