Queen for New Year's Eveconcert?
Wed 20th Jul, 2011 in Local News
A George Michael fronted Queen will be gracing us with their presence this New Year’s Eve, if reports from Triple M’s hit-and-miss entertainment reporter Nui Te Koha are to be believed.
According to Koha the rock legends are set to headline a special New Year’s Eve concert on Sydney Harbour this December, which would also feature The Black Eyed Peas. Given that Fergie and co are currently on hiatus a trip to Australia does seem unlikely, however, they do have a history of doing anything to make a quick dime so we are not ruling it out entirely.
In the past Koha has incorrectly predicted Rage Against The Machine would play Soundwave Revolution, yet accurately tipped Alice Cooper, Coldplay and Motley Crue tours.
It seems to be a week for tour gossip with Prince and Neil Young rumours both rearing their heads yesterday.
With so many potential tours headed out way this year – we want to know which one you want to see happen the most , so have your say and cast you vote the current FL forum poll.
