Dropkick Murphys and Lucerotour

Despite visiting our shores annually, it is near on impossible to weary of the Dropkick Murphys. The Boston-Celtic punks are favourites down under and for good reason – their live shows are consistently nothing short of awesome.

And with this in mind we will welcome them once again with open arms when they return to Australia in October. Making their upcoming tour all the more exciting is the news that Memphis alt-country punks Lucero will be joining them on their first ever tour down under.

The Murphys will be stomping out all the classics on their upcoming tour, plus tunes from their rock-solid new album, Going Out In Style. When last here for No Sleep Til… in December one FasterLouder reviewer summed up just what it is like to be a part of a Dropkick’s party: “The Celtic punk veterans were relentless in their bounding energy and high spirits as their adoring crowd clapped, cheered, sang along and even attempted a jig or two.”
