Alice Cooper SoundwaveRevolution sideshows

Master of theatrical rock Alice Cooper has announced two intimate Soundwave Revolution sideshows for his visit to Australia this September.
Last in Australia with his Theatre Of Death tour in 2009 Alice wowed audiences with a spectacular live show that has been the inspiration for countless performers over the years– from Marilyn Manson to Lady Gaga. As one FasterLouder reviewer put it Cooper show “never breaks pace, it never gets boring, you never lose interest, and there are no duds.”
His last Aussie shows saw Cooper “killed” on stage a mind boggling four times but when speaking with FasterLouder backstage at Download Festival Cooper said things will go a little differently at the new shows: “This time they are only killing me once, but we have switched a lot of the songs around and made the show a lot heavier. Basically we’ve added a new guitar play; we’ve added a new drummer so there are three guitars now not two.” And that extra guitarist is no less than original Cooper guitarist and Lou Reed collaborative Steve Hunter.
Alice Cooper Soundwave Revolution Sideshows:
Monday 26 September – Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Thursday 29 September – Palais Theatre, Melbourne
Tickets on sale Thursday 14th July.
Stay tuned to FL for the full interview with Cooper in coming weeks.
