Sparkadia tour in September

Following up on their sould out album launch gigs in March/April, Sparkadia have announced that they’ll make another lap of the country on September.

FL’s reviews of that tour earlier this year were filled with praise with the review of the Sydney show declaring that Sparkadia leader Alex Burnett is “truly a born entertainer, executing his parts in workman-like fashion but never seeming unenthusiastic or despondent. He leads clap-alongs through Kiss of Death, swaggers about the stage like a demented preacher during Mary and even lets the crowd sing the final chorus line of Talking Like I’m Falling Downstairs. His performance is carefully crafted, but not a chore – clearly, playing these songs live is a labour of love.

Special guests on the tour will be Canadian act Imaginary Cities who have been described as a fusion of Motown and indie.
