Def Leppard and Heart tour inOctober

We’re a little worried that someone has reset the clocks back to the mid 1980s – earlier today Mötley Crüe and Bret Michaels announced a tour and now the news of a visit from Def Leppard has leaked. What’s going on?!

Thanks to tip off on FasterLouder’s Facebook page we were led to a page on the Ticketmaster website which reveals that British rockers Def Leppard will be playing in Australia this October with support from the legendary Canadian group Heart, who will be playing on their first ever tour of Australia.

There is no other date or ticket details available at them moment, but tickets for the VIP Party & Arena Reserved Seating area in Perth, which allow you to “enjoy 1 hour of cocktail food and beverages in the glass-fronted Gareth Naven Room before moving to your seats to watch the show in ‘SPARKLE LOUNGE’ seating”, will set you back a lazy $350.00.

According to the promoters “The rest of the tour dates will be announced soon, stay tuned….”

Cheap Trick sucked; Def Leppard were great. Not sure I'd go again, though, as tickets are likely to push a hundred dollars and i have no interest in Heart.

I was right near the front, and there were these teenage girls near us who'd made a tshirt tribute to Rick Savage. Unfortunately for them, they thought Phil Collen was Rick Savage and gave the tshirt to the wrong guy.

He looked at them like they were morons before handing the tshirt over to Rick.

I wouldn't mind seeing Heart. I hope they do a sideshow that sells terribly and results in tickets being on gumtree for $20

Hmmmm I hope it sells better than what it probably will.

Tickets are $150+ yeah?

Was hoping that they were going to tag team with Whitesnake for this tour as they did across Europe and the US circa 2008-9.

That said Heart would be great to see.

Tickets start from $99. That's not bad really.

Will most likely attend - although I'm already going to Melbourne to see Soundwave Revolution then Blind Guardian, so its going to be a busy/expensive time of year....

$99 is good value for that double bill. If it comes to Adelaide I will be going.

I hope they play in the round like the Historia tour.
