Jet's "Doom Disco" sideproject

While half of Jet is taking a break, drummer Chris Cester and bassist Mark Wilson have teamed up with Louis Macklin (67 Special and Jet touring/session muso) and Mitch McIvor to form Damn Dogs.

Cester has abounded the drum kit to step up front for the vocals and leads the band in a sound they describe as “Doom Disco” influenced by Gang of Four and Gorillaz.

You can hear their debut single Very First Century, produced by Scott Horscroft (Birds Of Tokyo, Little Red) below and get a taste of their live show when they play two shows in Australia in July.
