Dolly Parton tour confirmed

Good Golly Miss Dolly! After letting slip only a few months ago that she would be headed our way very soon, Dolly Parton has confirmed the dates for her long awaited tour of Australia.

One of the most outrageous country music stars of the last 50 years, Parton also remains one of the most loved entertainers in the world. So much so you voted her number one in our poll of ladies who should have made it on to triple j’s Hottest 100 Of All Time; She has an entire theme park named after her and she can cite Jack White as one of her biggest fans.

The Smoky Mountain Songbird is set to land on our shores this November and has promised a two and a half hour show, chock full of all her classic hits and featuring “all new sets, costumes and even new music from her forthcoming album Better Day.”

So dust off your rhinestone jacket and get along to see Dolly at the following shows:

Tuesday 8th November – Burswood Dome, Perth
Saturday 12th November – Entertainment Centre, Adelaide
Tuesday 15 November – Acer Arena, Sydney
Saturday 19 November – Hope Estate, Hunter Valley
Sunday 20 November – Hope Estate, Henter Valley
Tuesday 22 November – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Wednesday 23 November – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Friday 25 November – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane
Saturday 26 November – Entertainment Centre, Brisbane

Tickets go on sale 9am Monday 20th June.
