First band for Falls Festival?

Having spent the first half of this year decoding Soundwave Revolution tweets and debating the veracity of Splendour leaks, it is time to set our sights on the next line-up announcement – Falls Festival.
Our first nibble on the Falls rumour mill is electro-pop band Metronomy, who revealed in an interview with FasterLouder this week that they will be back on our shores at the end of the year. When asked if the band had any plans to tour their new record The English Riviera down under singer Joseph Mount replied : “Absolutely, I guess we’ve known for a little while that we’ll been coming out. I think we’re gonna be there around New Years and maybe a couple of week afterwards, I’m not sure when it’ll be announced. We will come back and we will continue to come back until we’re told to fuck off.”
And it seems Falls themselves may have dropped a clue as well, casually tweeting last week: “Loving lots of new music right now. Especially tUnE yArDs -who kill.” tUnE yArDs is the experimental solo project of UK muso Merrill Garbus who released her sophomore album w h o k i l l last month to unanimous critical praise.
The Falls Festival line-up is due to be dropped in just over two months time, so stay tuned to FasterLouder for more updates.
Who do you think will be announced on the Falls Festival line-up come August?
