Mötley Crüe, Whitesnake andPoison rumoured for tour

Mötley Crüe, Whitesnake and Poison are headed to Australia for a triple bill tour of hair-raising proportions according to Triple M’s hit and miss music reporter Nui Te Koha .

Last month Te Koha got Rage Against The Machine fans in a flutter when he announced that the band were set to headline Soundwave Revolution in September. While that rumour fell flat on its face Nui seems pretty sure that this tour is a shoe-in telling the rock station’s Breakfast show that: “Motley Crue is now firmed up and looking like October/November at the end of the year with Whitesnake and somebody from Poison, nothing sorted out on the Poison front,”

If the rumour proves to be true expect Australia’s carbon emissions to rise dramatically in the second half of the year as 80s metal fans prepare en masse for the coming of the Crue.

First thing that came to mind when I heard about this. I think that debacle is still going to be fresh in a lot of people's minds if/when this gets announced.

I watched Hot Tub Time Machine the other night and heard the Mötley Crüe song "Home Sweet Home" for the first time.

Haha, I might just be tempted to go to this one!
I thought Motley Crue were pretty ordinary last time, but if they get the original lineup of Poison...
Now if only they could add Cinderella and Stryper :)

AWE-FUCKIN'-SOME! I saw Motley in 2005 and they were incredible. Throw poison into the mix and I think I feel a tingle in my pants.

My favourite part of the show was when Tommy Lee started directing a camera to point at girls in the audience, and then getting the entire audience to make the girls show us their breasts.

Eventually he got fixated on one chick who was very classy and quite dressed up, and who clearly didnt want to do it. He got the whole crowd to keep yelling at her until, at the behest of her boyfriend, she showed her breasts.

Sexual assualt via peer pressure. So very musical.

I went for Motorhead. Stuck around for the Crue. Lesson learned, I shall not be going to see them ever.

Yeah Motorhead were pretty kickass. The only problem was MC had such a big stage setup that Motorhead members basically had to stand very still and try not to bump into everything...
