After three long months of being drip-fed bands on the Soundwave Revolution line-up, the time has finally come to announce the last 10 names on the bill.
Tonight, at either 9:53pm or 10:23pm the Revolution is going to be unleashed and, based on our calculations so far we are in for one hell of a treat.
The Festival promoters have managed to be very elusive with their clues this far, so surely the mysterious announcement times of 9:53 or 10:23 have to mean something. We have tried fairly unsuccessfully to come up with our own theories about what the numbers could mean – read: we punched the numbers into google with the names of bands “bigger than KIISS” to see what came up.
The best link we have found is that Black Sabbath’s track Megalomania is 9:53 minutes in length, on the Past Lives album. Given that AJ has already said Ozzy is not a headliner but hasn’t ruled him out of the line-up altogether could he have done the unimaginable and snagged the official Black Sabbath reunion?
Bit of stretch? Yes it really is, however, we are sure you can come up with some better theories and would like to hear what they are. If you think there is a code to be cracked with the two mysterious Soundwave Revolution announcement times let us know below.
