Brisbane’s The Troubadourset to reopen as Black BearLodge

Brisbane’s iconic music venue The Troubadour will reopen its doors next month, pending licensing approval, filling the void left when the venue closed late last year.
Located at the same premised under a new name, with a new look but the same old cozy vibe, the now Black Bear Lodge will pays homage to owner, Corinna Scanlon’s Canadian heritage.
The venue will move away from big band performances with a focus on showcasing solo artists in the front room, with the renovations providing a longer bar, better seating and improved ventilation.
The venue is expected to operate as a day and night free-entry music bar, so make sure to attend and support this iconic Brisbane institution when it returns next month.
