The Mission In Motion tour

With a set at Big Day Out in Sydney and a converted spot on triple j’s Next Crop list The Mission in Motion have had a strong start to 2011.

Now, with the release of What Do You Do, the third single to be lifted from the album Somewhere Safe, The Mission In Motion have announced a run of national dates in May.

According to FL’s review of the band’s debut album “The Mission In Motion have worked hard and taken the time necessary to make their debut release something special, and they have succeeded, as Somewhere Safe is truly impressive.”

Friday 6th May – East Brunswick Club, Melbourne
Saturday 7th May – Fowlers Live , Adelaide
Saturday 14th May – The Zoo, Brisbane
Saturday 21st May – Amplifier Bar, Perth
Sunday 22nd May – Mojo’s, Freemantle
Friday 27th May – Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Saturday May 28th – Blush Nightclub, Gosford

I think he's more upset he can't see them becasue it's not all ages.

Where do you live Quicky, I'm sure they'll do an all ages show near you soon, these kind of bands thrive off the underage market.

It's interesting that you say that, because last time they played at the OAF they were planning to do an AA show before their 18+ show; and then the AA show got cancelled because they couldn't get enough kids.

Really? It probably doesn't help that the band in question is The Mission in Motion.

I really like them. I went and saw them last year because I liked their support act, Valencia; had never listened to them before. Really impressed me.

Ha ha that was a bit harsh.

They aren't that bad. I saw them at OAF last year because my friends were supporting, and they aren't bad, just seemed a bit boring because they are not really my thing.
