Thu 14th Apr, 2011 in Local News
BIGSOUND has announced its first lineup of guest speakers including Creation Records and Poptones founder Alan McGee (Oasis, Primal Scream, The Hives) and an exclusive keynote speech from Warner Music’s Tony Harlow, to coincide with his first anniversary at the helm of the label.
The lineup for BIGSOUND Live, which has hosted performances from the likes of The Temper Trap, Washington, Cloud Control, The Naked & Famous, Little Red and The Middle East will be announced soon. Last year’s BIGSOUND Live sold out and BIGSOUND programmer Graham Ashton says that “the calibre of artists we are attracting leaves us confident the 10th anniversary will prove to be a unique gathering of the tribe for the music community both locally and internationally. The speakers in a our first announcement are certainly a testament to this.”
