WAMi nominees for 2011

The 2011 WAMi Award nominees have been announced and voting is now open for WA’s most prestigious music industry awards night.
FasterLouder has been nominated for the Most Popular Music Website award. Woo!
Other nominees include Birds of Tokyo, Tame Impala, Pond and the Laneway and Soundwave festivals. Award categories include most popular act, single, video, venue, album,event as well as individual craft categories. Industry voted categories include most promising new act, best individual craft awards, management, media and label awards.
Public voting is open until midday Friday 6th May – VOTE HERE
The 2011 WAMi Festival will run from May 22nd-28th culminating in the industry awards night of nights at the Bakery.
The WAMi presentation will also include the Kiss My Camera award – which was won last year by FasterLouder’s Caminniss.
