It’s less than 24 hours away from the official Splendour In The Grass line-up announcement, but a late lineup leak has added another British act to the lineup.
Glasvegas guitarist Rab Allan confirmed his band’s involvement in the festival in an interview with Adelaide street press Rip It Up this morning.
When asked about the rumours of Glasvegas at the festival this year, the Scottish indie rocker stalled briefly before revealing that “Yeah, the plan is we’re going to do a tour in July and hopefully finish with a famous Australian festival. We’re also going to play Perth, Sydney and Melbourne before the festival, so that’s the plan.”
Glasvegas join The Vaccines, The Kills, Cornershop, Friendly Fires and Gomez as the only bands directly quoted as playing Splendour In The Grass, while the presence of Coldplay, Pulp, Kanye West and James Blake on the lineup has been strongly rumoured in recent days.
