WA musicians cook below theline

Nic Owen of The Brow Horn Orchestra and Tegan Thorogood of the Voltaire Twins will join DJ Jason Creek, Senator Louise Pratt and other assorted dignitaries in a Masterchef-style cook off with a twist.

Organised by the Oaktree Foundation as part of the Live Below the Line challenge, celebrity chefs will have to make a meal for less than $2.

The event is the launch for this year’s Live Below the Line campaign, which challenges Australians to live on less than $2 per day for 5 days to raise awareness and money to eradicate extreme poverty.

It takes place at 97 William St Perth from 7pm this Thursday 7 April. Guests will be treated to drinks and canapés as well as an intimate solo set by Adrian Wilson, of Beside Lights as they watch the cooking creativity unfold.
