The Wombats and The Holidayspull out of Bunbury Groovinthe Moo

The Wombats and The Holidays have pulled out of the final leg of the Groovin the Moo tour in Bunbury on Saturday 14th May.

The Wombats have dropped out of the final date by choosing to play at the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, with the Foo Fighters, Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa and My Chemical Romance.

The Holidays will also miss their scheduled appearance in Bunbury as they’ll now be playing at Great Escape festival in the UK..

Groovin the Moo promoters have quickly filled the spots on the lineup, adding Boy and Bear, The Panics, hip-hop acts PEZ and 360, Sons of Rico, Sans Cisco and Unearthed winner Antonio Paul to the Bunbury lineup.

Fans in Bunbury who had purchased tickets to especially to see The Wombats can receive a refund tickets from 9am AWST Monday 4th April until5pm AWST Friday 8th April through MOSHTIX on 1300 438 849.

Groovin The Moo organisers announced today that The Wombats and The Holidays have been forced to withdraw from the final leg of Groovin The Moo in Bunbury, WA.

Both bands have commitments in the UK with Liverpool outfit The Wombats booked to play the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend which kicks off on the same weekend as Groovin The Moo Bunbury.

Sydney group The Holidays are also due to play in the UK at the same time after scoring a spot on the Great Escape Festival.

Groovin The Moo organisers issued a statement explaining the changes and announced a number of new additions for Bunbury.

"GTM has been able to ensure Bunbury doesn't miss out and has invited Boy & Bear, The Panics, Pez and 360 and Dr Don Don to jump on board for the finale as well as the recently announced triple j unearthed winner, Antonio Paul and local acts, Sons of Rico and San Cisco."

The statement went on to say that refunds will be available as a result of the change in line up.

Would've liked to see the panics on the lineup of all the shows. Haven't seen them in years and would be great to hear some new stuff

Panics at the Metro in 08 still stands as the worst gig I've ever been to.

Aren't the Wombats headlining? Poor Western Australia. Although additions aren't bad

true to their name the wombats are only to be found on the east coast. bastards!
