Soundwave Revolution:confirmations, rumours andbets

CLICK HERE FOR THE COMPLETE 2011 SOUNDWAVE REVOLUTION LINE-UP

Forty-nine bands have been confirmed for Soundwave Revolution so far and for every artist announced there has been a dozen more clues dropped.

Brisbane Revolution – Saturday 24th September
Sydney Revolution – Sunday 25th September
Melbourne Revolution – Friday 30th September
Adelaide Revolution – Saturday 1st October
Perth Revolution – Monday 3rd October

The venue for Soundwave Revolution in Brisbane will be the same as Soundwave (RNA Showgrounds); in all other states the Revolution will be held at different venues.

The festival’s promoter AJ Maddah has declared that the all ages festival will be a one off for 2011, that he’s ‘99% sure there won’t be any sideshows for Soundwave Revolution’ although Yellowcard has announced on their blog that “We will also be playing a couple of headlining shows while we are [in Australia for Soundwave Revolution]”.

With so many clues piling in each day, we put our sleuthing hats on and gathered together all the evidence floating around on the internet to make some educated guesses (and take a few wild stabs in the dark) about who will be coming to our shores for Soundwave Revolution this September.

These bets were placed back on March 29th and so far they’ve proved to be fairly accurate… who will be added next?

And for those of you not interested in odds here is a list of the bands that have been confirmed so far for Soundwave Revolution 2011 (we will update this as more bands are announced):
