The Perisher Snowy Mountains of Music Festival, Australia’s only festival held in the snow takes place once again this June.
The festival on the long weekend of 10-13th June is now in its third year and showcases the beauty of the Snowy Mountains, with a truly spectacular soundtrack of jazz, roots, blues and country.
The line-up, which will span 100 concerts in total, includes country’s rising stars, The Sunny Cowgirls, the ethereal The Stiff Gins and the brooding sounds of Heath Cullen. Also featured will be Melbourne’s ragtag gypsy clan, The Woohoo Revue, renown folk singer Eric Bogle and Dallas Frasca, Australia’s ‘Queen of Country Roots’.
Not stopping with just great music, the festival also includes poetry slams and plenty of kid-friendly activities to keep the little ones entertained.
The enchanting surrounds of the Snowy Mountains are usually enough to entice a visit, but with such an amazing line-up, this three day festival is not to be missed.
