Airbourne rock out this June
Thu 10th Mar, 2011 in Local News
Having spent the summer climbing scaffolding and whipping their hair on the mainstage of the Big Day Out, Airbourne have announced a headline tour of Australia this June.
The Warrnambool foursome have enjoyed quite the rock n roll ride over the last few years, headlining festivals overseas and, most recently playing with some of metals biggest acts as part of the Jagermeister Mayhem tour in the US.
Speaking with FasterLouder last year about being on tour with the likes of Machine Head and Slipknot, lead singer Joel O’Keefe revealed all: “We managed to get into a brawl with the Slipknot security team after we stole a bottle of their piss from their afterparty. We just go full force all the time. It’s who we are. When we were living in that house in Melbourne, the walls were full of holes, the ground was scorched from the fires we’d have in the back yard, there would be shit everywhere.”
