More tickets released for MGMT

An additional allocation of tickets has been made available for MGMT’s Melbourne and Sydney Future Music Sideshows.

The band play this evening at the Palace Theatre in Melbourne, before backing up again on Thursday at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.

They will be supported on both nights by Pond, the side project of Tame Impala fronted by guitarist Nick Allbrook and featuring vocalist Kevin Parker on drums.

FasterLouder was in attendance for MGMT’s sets at the Perth and Brisbane legs of the festival. Check out all the photos below.

Pond are in no way veteran rockers. Think you may have the side project of some Tame Impala members mistaken with band Pond from Portland.

They were pretty good on the weekend. They seemed like they weren't really that into it, but they sounded great. Reminded me of the Strokes actually.
