White Lies in Sydney andMelbourne

When White Lies last visited us for Splendour in the Grass in 2009, FL’s reviewer in Melbourne raved that “This was one of those gigs, where you walk away into the night wondering how long until said artist may tour again.”
That question has now been answered with the trio announcing a return to Melbourne and Sydney this April to celebrate the success of their second studio album Ritual.
The three piece of Harry McVeigh (vocals), Charles Cave (bass) and Jack Lawrence-Brown (drummer) will be joined by Robert Lee and Thomas Bowen to fill out the brooding dark indie rock of their new album Ritual, which has been described by the band as a “full-blooded, big-booted tech-rock”.
White Lies dates:
Thursday 7th April – Metro Theatre, Sydney
Friday 8th April – Prince Bandroom, Melbourne
Tickets on sale from 9am Thursday 3rd March
