Adelaide Fringe kicks offtonight

Adelaide just gets even busier with the 2011 Adelaide Fringe Festival opening this evening with the traditional parade and concerts taking place around the Garden of Unearthly Delights from 7pm.
With the weather currently a little on the nasty side, the organisors have asserted that the parade will definitely take place. Spectators are advised to grab their possy early as 100,000+ people witnessed the 2010 parade.
The free concerts will be headed up by The John Steel Singers and Saly Seltmann and also featuring Poetikool Justice, The Transatlantics, The Honey Pies, 20th Century Graduates and The Salvadors.

STOP PRESS: THE FRINGE PARADE HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO SAFETY REASONS. THE CONCERTS WILL STILL GO AHEAD AS PLANNED.
