My Disco hit the road
Thu 17th Feb, 2011 in Local News
My Disco’s third album Little Joy was undoubtedly one of last year’s most interesting local releases. It saw the Melbourne trio evolve their traditionally tight punk sound into something far more expansive, leading Rolling Stone to declare it their “finest yet.”
The band played the album in its entirety at a short run of shows last year, which said saw them “at their most cohesive and focused,” and before they jet off overseas to find fame and glory for the rest of 2011, My Disco are giving fans one last chance to see them live again.
The band will play a run of small club shows this coming April to coincide with the release of the deluxe double LP version of Little Joy, which comes complete with a poster, etched vinyl and free Mp3 vinyl.
